The Safety Manager also works closely with all levels of leadership to assure policies and programs are effectively developed, implemented, communicated, and supported throughout the property. This position ensures that tactical direction and training is provided to all Yaamava’ Resort & Casino departments including department-level Safety Specialist. The Safety Manager manages a team that drives compliance to protect Yaamava’ Resort & Casino.
The Safety Manager works the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team to achieve best in class safety. This position manages the Yaamava’ Resort & Casino programs and ensures safety compliance with applicable Tribal, Federal, State, and Local regulations. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Compliance and Quality Assurance, the Safety Manager is responsible for developing, planning, and implementing safety programs for the hospitality, administrative and restaurant operations within Yaamava’ Resort & Casino at San Manuel.
